Serve Your Circle

We are ambassadors

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.

-2 Corinthians 5:17-20

1. We experience blessing

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.

-1 Peter 3:8

Which area is God challenging you to grow in?

What’s one thing you can do today to practice these social skills?

We experience heaven on earth when we relate to each other like this in the church. Then we take that same lifestyle out into the world and SERVE your Circle.

2. We extend blessing

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. For, 'Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.'

-1 Peter 3:9-12

What does God promise for those who follow his ways?

3. We overcome hardship

Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. 'Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.' But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord.

-1 Peter 3:13-15

When we Serve our Circle, for the most part, people will be thankful

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.

-Colossians 4:5

The Bible has the best wisdom for every area of life

4. We reveal hope

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. For it is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

-1 Peter 3:15-17

We can always be ready to give an answer because we can share our own story of hope.

5. We go second

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

-1 Peter 3:18

Let’s make ONE&ALL Church heaven on earth (like-minded, sympathetic, loving, compassionate, humble), and let's take that wisdom and Serve our Circle.
