Devotional Thought
Acts 2:22–39 captures a defining moment—not just for the early church, but for every person who has ever wrestled with who Jesus is. Peter’s sermon is direct and unapologetic. He lays out the truth of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, and then brings it home personally: “God has made this Jesus… both Lord and Messiah.”
What stands out is how becoming a Christian engages the whole person. It is not مجرد emotion or مجرد tradition. Peter appeals to the mind with reason and evidence, reminding the people of what they already know and have seen. He confronts their assumptions about goodness and points them to grace—that salvation is not earned but given through Jesus. Then, something deeper happens: they are “cut to the heart.” Truth becomes personal.
This is where real transformation begins. The gospel is not just information to consider; it is truth that confronts, humbles, and invites surrender. The same Jesus who was crucified is also the one who offers forgiveness, new life, and the Holy Spirit. The call remains the same today: repent, believe, and follow Him as Lord.
The question is not simply whether we understand these things—but whether they have truly reached our hearts and changed the direction of our lives.

Action Step
This week, intentionally share the core message of the gospel with at least one person. It could be as simple as explaining who Jesus is, what He has done, and why it matters to you personally. Pray for an opportunity, be honest about your own journey, and trust God to work in their heart.
