You Don't Seek God.

You Don't Seek God.

There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one. Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes.

-Romans 3:10-18

When you begin anything without a fundamental understanding of the thing you are doing--It's almost impossible to achieve the goal.

Spiritually speaking, we are all sinners before a righteous, holy, and just God.

If I do the good and avoid the bad, then I WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Therefore, when people invite their non-Christian friends, this is what they are investigating.

There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.

-Romans 3:10-12

Christianity is not ultimately about you stopping the bad and doing the good! (repeat)

All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.

-Romans 3:12

Go your own way and live in a distant land, away from the Father, or, Stay home with the Father, go to church, do good things, read your Bible,

You are not seeking God. You are seeking things from God.

"Lord help me play my best—but, if in your divine plan, in order for you to achieve a higher purpose, a purpose I may never see—it is important that I do not play well—then not my will but yours be done."

Of course not. God is on His side. I am merely acknowledging that any good thing I accomplish—the praise goes back to God because he gave me these legs, this arm, and this opportunity to play the game I love.

-Tim Tebow

We do what we do, not because we love God and want to experience God. Rather, to merit his acceptance and forgiveness for past, present, and even future failures.

”Don’t you see all the things I do for you? How I have to hold everything together. How much I serve and give to you.”

Not to save someone but to save ourselves.

Blessings, Health, Wealth, Forgiveness, Heaven, Eternal Life.

Of course there is a difference between virtuous deeds and evil deeds.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

-James 1:2-3

You were born with gifts, talents and abilities conducive to achieve the plan of God in this world.

“Now young Jeffery, we are going to see if you are serving me or if you are serving you. Are you submitting to my plan or are you hoping I will submit to yours?”

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

-John 16:33

Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood;

-Romans 3:13-15

One: You gotta stop talking. Shut up!

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.

-Romans 3:19

Because of the Gospel, the way to God is wide open. No sin can hold you back because He has offered justification to the ungodly. Nothing now stands between you and God but your good works. All you need is need. All you need is nothing, but most people don’t have it.

-John Gershner

Two: Fear the Lord!

There is no fear of God before their eyes.

-Romans 3:18

Whatever the fear of the Lord is, its increased when you see His provision, salvation.

You are too humbled to be self-centered. Too joyful to ever be sad again.

All religions: You seek and find God. Christianity: God seeks you and finds you.

“If I be lifted up, I will draw all men to me.”

Blessed are you who chose to walk through the door opened to you.

He was stripped naked on the cross ... so that you and I could be clothed in a robe of righteousness, and so that we could go home with the Father!!!
