Jesus clearly taught us that the Gospel is so rich a treasure that it is worth giving up everything else to secure it. There are those who tell us that becoming a Christian means that your life is going to be so much better. “Better” is described as health, wealth, and prosperity. While living and abiding by the precepts of God most definitely sets a person up for health and vitality, the truth is, living for Jesus may cost you dearly.
